Awards Season Is Upon Us…
Autumn. The season for crisp weekend walks, warm jumpers, blackberry picking, and for those of us in events, hoovering up awards like they’re going out of fashion. That’s the idea anyway… This year we’re delighted to have been shortlisted for a hat-trick of industry accolades, which means we’ve got a busy few months ahead of us…

Up first on the 20th October we’ll be heading to The Brewery for the London Venue Awards, where we’re up for the Most Versatile Venue gong. Our spaces have hosted just about every event under the sun these past twelve months, from private dinners, weddings and Christmas parties to brand activations, sample sales and teambuilding days. We’re never ones to count our chickens (unless we’re doing another Nando’s away day) but we’re confident we’ve got the muscle to bring the hustle…

A few weeks later, on the 22nd November, we’ll be suiting up again and making our way to the Eventim Apollo to make our mark at Event Magazine’s annual Event Awards. Following on from last year’s successes, we’re in the running for not one but two biggies, so it’s going to be a really – er – BIG night for all involved (but mainly us, we hope). As a family-run business and a granny’s-knitting-tight team of [insert favourable adjective] individuals, we’re thrilled to be in the running for the Best Venue Team award.

But it doesn’t end there. Nope… Our super creative production arm Shuttlecock Inc has also been shortlisted for events immortality. They’re up for the Creative Event of the Year prize for the irreverent, immersive, ‘day in the life of a 60s ad agency’ experience they brought to Savile Row to showcase the swanky new offices of property company, Allied.

We’re no strangers to a shiny, metallic pat on the back. Back in November 2016 we saw off some pretty stiff competition (cough Hilton Bankside cough The Leadenhall Building) to scoop Best New Event Space at the Event Awards, along with a Mark of Excellence at the London Venue Awards in the Best Unusual or Unique Venue category. So there.
Wish us luck this time round!
