Cult Vinegar

We didn’t know vinegar could be so cool until we met the guys behind Cult Vinegar. Made in small batches with premium wines – such as Ruby Port, German Riseling, 1988 Fronsac Bordeux and Champagne – makes them extra delicious, and the adorable dinky dropper bottles are an added plus. As Cult Vinegar isn’t pasteurised it contains those all-important live bacteria that we keep hearing will make us healthy and happy. It’s a win win, really.

M.i.H. Jeans

Jeans are our uniform of choice here at Carousel and we all know the thrill of finding a pair that fit like a glove. Whatever your go-to style, M.i.H. caters for all with lots of shades and shapes to choose from (as well as a collection of boxy jackets, shift dresses and chunky knitwear that are firmly on our wish-list). Their denim feels substantial but still manages to mould to your body and flatter at all the right angles. We’ve finally found the dream jean.

The Tomato Stall

The best in the biz. Sweet, juicy and bursting with flavour (none of that watery rubbish) these babies speak for themselves. The unique maritime climate of the sunny Isle of Wight means The Tomato Stall really do make the tastiest toms. They pop up on our menu throughout the season, smoked and stirred though pasta, tossed with breadcrumbs and cheese or kept fresh with just a drizzle of olive oil, they’re nothing short of exquisite.

Wild Life Drawing

It’s life drawing, but not as you know it. Instead of human life models, animals ‘sit’ contently whilst Wild Life Drawing founder Jennie Webber teaches you how to sketch them and discusses their anatomy, habitat and characteristics. Her Carousel workshops have seen mini pigs, owls, reptiles and wolves walk through our doors, and that’s just the beginning. A proportion of every ticket sale goes towards animal welfare charities too, so you can rest assured you’re doing your bit.

Monocle

When we need a little change of scenery you’ll find us tucked away inside Monocle, just a hop, skip and a jump away from Carousel, with our hands wrapped around a silky smooth cup of Joe. No doubt you’ll recognise their zebra stripes from Instagram, but don’t let that put you off – once the bloggers have got their money shot they’ll soon move on, leaving you to settle down and get comfy with a slice of something sweet. Who knows, you might even get some work done.
