Last month we welcomed Vicky Murdoch to Carousel – creator of beautiful, hand drawn illustrative print brand ‘Silken Favours’ as the winner of our creative spaces competition 2016.

Having asked contestants what type of event they’d like to hold and how they would transform their chosen event space (either Upstairs or Downstairs), Silken Favours came up tops!

We were blown away with the creativity and colours of Vicky’s fabrics and designs and so we thought our light and airy blank canvas event space, Upstairs, was the perfect fit to make all those colours pop.

The Silken Favours team created a pop-up shop and drinks party to celebrate their 5th birthday as well the launch their brand new website!

The space was transformed into a Silken Favours wonderland, with a equally colourful cake to match and a selections of equally cool and quirky brands sponsored the food and drink.
