WE DON’T SAY AWARD-WINNING FOR NOTHIN’
After a bumper awards season which saw us take home not one, not two, not three but four glittering awards, it’s time for us to invest in a sturdier mantelpiece… Recognising another amazing year for Carousel which saw us open a brand new space in Seven Dials and execute over 400 unique live events across our three venues, we’re super proud to have brought home the bacon at the Campaign Event Awards, the Hirespace awards aaaaand the London Venue Awards.

First up it was off to the Eventim Apollo for the prestigious Campaign Event Awards, where we took home the Best Venue Team title. This is the one that meant the most as it’s the talented people who work here that make Carousel what it is… Impressed by our growth and development over the past twelve months, the judging panel of industry heavyweights looked favourably on our impressive portfolio of events – from an Instagram-friendly UK pre-launch for NYC-based online cosmetics giant, Glossier, to the creation of an immersive Superfood Skincare System universe for Elemis – reserving special praise for ability to not only offer up stylish surroundings but a winning combo of top-notch food and drink, creative in-house production and friendly customer service too. What made the win even more satisfying was the calibre of the competition we pipped to the post, which included Alexandra Palace, Westfield, Tobacco Dock and Hawker House. We love the folks at Hirespace, so we were thrilled to bits to pick up Best Experiential Venue at their ritzy Museum of London awards bash. The victory was a nod to our brilliant in-house production team and the suitability of our different spaces for first-class experiential brand events, whether that’s a press dinner in our light and airy Upstairs space, a big old party in the industrial-style surroundings of our Downstairs space or something all-singing, all-dancing in the open expanse of Next Door, with its floor to ceiling windows and its enviable location on the corner of one of Marylebone’s busiest thoroughfares. We used case studies for AmEx, Mr & Mrs Smith and Glossier to demonstrate how each of our unique spaces can be adapted to the needs of clients from pretty much any industry you can think of…

And to round off a rather fruitful couple of weeks, we were popping yet more champagne corks at the Hurlingham Club for the London Venue Awards, where we were awarded Silver medal for Best Event Venue under 1000 attendees (and there are a lot of those in the capital, we can tell you) and Bronze medal for Best Christmas Venue, in recognition of our killer Winter in Japan theme from 2017. We can’t wait to knock their socks of next year with our take on Tim Burton’s stop-motion cult classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Take a look here for all the deets.
